Why do you need to grant permissions and how is your data protected?
Any time you log in to TikTok using an unrecognized device or from a third-party application, you will be asked to enter your password and a one-time verification code; we have to authorize it in order to verify that you are the actual owner!
We do ask that you accept all permissions when connecting your account so that you are able to participate in all campaigns and monetize your content. Once linked, we do not have access to any private information aside from your audience data, which is what brands use to determine if you are a good fit for their campaign.
Connect TikTok
- On the dashboard, under the Create a tracking link section, you'll see the My social accounts section.
- Select Edit.
- Select TikTok.
- You’ll be prompted to an authorization page where you will need to Authorize your account.
- Select Edit access and toggle on all permissions. We do ask that you accept all permissions when connecting your account so that you are able to participate in campaigns and monetize your content.
- Once permissions have been granted and you select Authorize, you'll be authenticated and you'll be taken back to your social networks page and TikTok will be successfully connected!
