What is the Target Creator Program?
The Target Creator Program is an initiative designed to empower creators and influencers to collaborate with Target and showcase their creativity while earning commissions on product sales along with revenue-based bonuses.
How often are creators expected to create content for Target and what type of content is accepted?
The frequency of content creation is at your leisure but the more you post the more opportunities you have to increase your revenue and hit a monthly bonus tier. Content creation can be anything from short-form videos, e.g.TikTok, Instagram stories and reels to YouTube videos, blog posts, Instagram static posts, etc.
How can I generate affiliate links?
To generate affiliate links, go to the portal's homepage and find the link generator on the right-hand side of your screen. You can create unique affiliate links by copying and pasting product links from Target.com. These links will track all traffic and conversions (sales) resulting from viewer clicks.

Can I create custom vanity affiliate links?
Yes, you can create custom vanity links. This allows you to choose what your custom link should look like (e.g., goto.target.com/AshleyB)

What is the commission structure for the program?
Commission rates may vary, but you will earn a percentage of the sales generated through your affiliate links. The specific rates and terms are outlined below and can be found in the commission rate card linked in the announcement dashboard.

When and how will I receive my affiliate commissions?
Commissions are typically paid on a regular monthly schedule, and are usually sent via your preferred payment method, such as direct deposit or PayPal.
Can I track my affiliate sales and commissions in real time?
Yes, located on the homepage of your creator portal, you will see a dashboard that will track your sales, commissions, and performance metrics in real time.
Are there any restrictions on how I can promote Target brand products?
Yes, there are guidelines and policies in place to ensure ethical and legal promotion. We expect our affiliate creators to promote our products in a respectful and brand-appropriate manner. You can find these guidelines outlined in the content messaging brief & FTC guidelines documents located in the resources tab.
How do I add products to my favorites?
When browsing products on the portal site, simply click the heart icon in the top right corner of the product image. You will then be able to choose which favorites list you would like to add the product or create a new list by typing.
How do I create a Target storefront?
- Before you can create a storefront, be sure to have a Target Consumer account aka a Target.com account under the same email address as your Target portal account.
- Once your Target Consumer account is set up, set up your Target Creator profile.
- Select Link your target partners account and log in using your Target Creator portal credentials.
- Once logged in, set up your storefront profile:
- Choose a profile picture
- Choose your creator name
- Choose your username
- Review and accept our terms and conditions and privacy policy.
- Select Create your account.
- Your storefront application will be reviewed, and you will receive an email confirmation once it is approved.
